Greg Berger, known also as "Gringoyo," is a Mexico based filmmaker, journalist, and Professor of Film at the Art Department of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos. For over ten years he has documented contemporary social issues and political movements in Latin America. His work has been screened at museums, galleries, and town squares on five continents, including the Guggenheim Museum, The Getty Museum, Museum of Modern Art in New York City, the Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid, and the Mexico City Zocalo. He has also worked extensively in the fields of Reproductive Rights and Disaster Risk Reduction, using video as a tool for participation and social change in partnership with communities and individuals throughout Latin America. For two years he has been a television segment producer for the Caracas based network TeleSUR.
